Thought this was too humorous not to share. Earlier this year, it was reported that the Philadelphia Phillies' Double-A minor league affiliate, the Reading Phillies, would be passing out Ryan Howard garden gnome figurines at a game this summer. And that day came Thursday, when the club distributed gnomes to the first 2,500 fans in attendance.
And, according to the Inquirer, those Howard fans that wanted a gnome had to get to the ballpark well before game time. Four hours to be exact.
