Tauntr recently published the exclusive documentary When Mascots Attack, showing other examples of athletes being attacked by the real-life version of their team's mascot. The video was a response to the report of Tampa Bay Rays infielder Sean Rodriguez being stung by a sting ray, which prompted us to dig deeper in order to find other examples of similar incidents.

Interestingly, this story from Seattle highlights another recent example of a mascot causing bodily harm. On the same exact day that the sting ray got Rodriguez, the Seattle Mariners' mascot, Mariner Moose, allegedly assaulted a fan attending a game at Safeco Field.
