LOS ANGELES — African American, and Los Angeles Angels center fielder Torii Hunter called out Major League Baseball for trying to pass off Dominican players as African Americans on stupid, rich white fans. “People see dark faces out there, and the perception is that they’re African American,” Hunter said. “They’re not us. They’re impostors.” Hunter suggests Dominican players ride at the back of the bus to the stadium, pick up other players trash in the dugout and crank up really bad Latin music during their at-bats so that whiteys can tell the difference. White MLB scout Steve Gottlieb admitted to counterfeiting blacks. “Torii got us,” said Gottlieb. “White people don’t know the difference, so we thought we go to the Dominican Republic and get some cheap, knock-off African Americans, and fake Cuban cigars while we were there.
