Withdrawls from Lin's game winner are going to be totally harsh man

As if NYC needed another addiction problem, here comes basketball heroin. I know people are comparing Lin’s miraculous run to Tebow’s--both are religious; both are good despite “astute” sports minds claiming they shouldn’t be--but Lin is a completely different high in that, when this trip ends, the big apple’s crash will be harsher than the Hindenburg.
See for Bronco’s fans, the Tebow experience is like a night on the town. The happening is filled with bad decisions, empty promises, and more fun than you’ve had since you were 16 sneaking rum from the liquor cabinet. You also have the added benefit of knowing what the morning brings, i.e violent nausea and the stark realization that your QB is garbage.
Linsanity, however, is a bender of an entirely different nature. Knicks fans are so lost in the hallucination that they may have just swallowed something great (and indeed they may), that they’ve embraced Jeremy like a flower child with overbearing parents first hearing the Dead. And just like a Dead Head, New Yorkers will gladly groove to this same jam until their prime is well past and they're stuck with a severe and debilitating dependency on a mass produced Asian product.
