Roger Hargreaves' Mr. Men and Little Miss series is synonymous with childhood; a joy for the nostalgic adult and the curious child alike. But, for those of us forced to weather the unforgiving world on a daily basis, Hargreaves' naive view is a bit disingenuous.
Which is why we've imagined a series of Mr. Men and Little Misses more aligned with the world as we see it. A series of characters meant for the cynics not the children.
