LeBron's 4th Quarter Contributions

We understand LeBron James isn’t the most popular human being, and as such, people will criticize him. But criticism is much more mild and acceptable than vicious rumors and outright lies, which is what the anti-LeBron establishment has resorted to. While rumors, such as LeBron’s girlfriend sleeping with Rashard Lewis, are reprehensible, we can at least expect them. After all, as long as LeBron has women in his life, there will be no shortage of people to spread rumors about NBA role players banging them.

But what particularly irks us is this erroneous statement that seems to be making its way throughout the media:

LeBron isn’t contributing in the 4th quarter.

Well, we vehemently disagree. Sure, maybe LeBron hasn’t contributed to his team in the traditional sense of "scoring points," but that doesn’t mean he has, as the Mavs' DeShawn Stevenson said, “Checked out.” LeBron has contributed to the game in other ways, and we have the pictures to prove it.

Windmill

LeBron is doing more than his fair share to save the environment and provide electricity for his team by powering the American Airlines Arena with his windmill dunks.

Step stool

Many claim that LeBron only cares for himself. That he won’t sacrifice for his team. That couldn’t be further from the truth. LeBron not only goes out his way to help his own team, he helps the other team too. Without LeBron, the Mavs diminutive guard JJ Barea wouldn't be able to reach his team's huddles.

Pat Riley's Caregiver

Pat Riley has kept a close eye on his team, lending his veteran experience and leadership to a young group of individuals struggling to become a cohesive unit. But at 66 years of age, Riley needs help—help he’s received from LeBron, who has faithfully remained at Riley’s bedside to inject him with HGH and brush oil in his hair so Riley can maintain his competitive edge.
