The visuals used in college commercials are pretty standard: wide sweeping shots of the campus, someone doing an experiment in an oddly lit laboratory and students—preferably of varying ethnic backgrounds—having a conversation on a staircase. 

But the Central Institute of Technology in Australia, perhaps due to a lack of an actual campus, lab or diversity, could not employ these normal elements. So they opted for the next visual technique on the list, which is apparently the inherent hazard of teleportation. They may not made a typical college commercial, but they made an accurate metaphor for the future of most vocational college students.
